Soft Maple Cookies Recipe (Makes 24 cookies) 1/2 cup butter softened to room temperature 1 1/4 cups brown sugar 1/2 pure maple syrup 2 eggs 1/2 cup sour cream 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 1/2 cups flour 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt Cream the butter and sugar together until smooth, add maple syrup, eggs, sour cream and vanilla stir until combined. Fold in the flour, baking soda, and salt. scoop the dough into 1 1/2 tablespoon balls and place on a baking sheet covered in parchment paper. Bake for 13-14 minutes at 350°F until lightly browned on the edges. 1/4 cup melted butter 1/2 cup pure maple syrup 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar 1/8 teaspoon salt Whisk melted butter and syrup until combined, add powdered sugar and salt. spoon the glaze onto the cookies.
