White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies

Recipe for White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies 3/4 cup butter softened to room temperature 1/4 cup granulated sugar 3/4 cup brown sugar 1 large egg 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon cornstarch 1/2 teaspoon salt 3/4 cup macadamia nuts 3/4 cup white chocolate chips Cream together the butter and sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy, add the egg and vanilla and mix until combined. Mix in the flour, baking soda, cornstarch and salt. Fold in the white chocolate chips and macadamia nuts. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and store in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Remove from the fridge and roll into 1 1/2 tablespoon balls. Place the balls at least 3 inches apart on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake the cookies at 350°F for 11 to 12 minutes, or until lightly browned.
